July 19

Report of a vehicle stolen from a parking lot in the 1400 block of East Yonezawa Boulevard.

A woman contacted police stating she heard a single gun shot coming a residence in the 100 block of East Hill Avenue. The residence was contacted, but the occupant denied firing a shot and said it was from further down the street. No evidence was located to corroborate the report.

Report of several vehicles damaged in a parking lot in the 500 block of East Wheeler Road sometime over the past two or three days.

A woman reported several items were stolen from her residence in the 600 block of North Crestview Drive.

A man told police he believes someone obtained his Social Security number and is attempting to open his credit account. He said he has had several inquiries on his credit report and was able to stop the fraud before any accounts were opened.

Report of a needle found in a parking lot in the 1400 block of East Yonezawa Boulevard. The needle was disposed of.

Report of possible drug activity and illegal subleasing at an apartment in the 1900 block of West Marina Drive. A man was contacted at the apartment and told to control his visitors due to issues caused with neighbors and management.

A woman reported she lost her wallet in her residence in the 2100 block of South Beaumont Drive and has had several people living with her.

Report of a vehicle entered in the 1000 bock of West Broadway Avenue and several items stolen.

Report of a vehicle stolen from a hotel parking lot in the 2800 block of West Driggs Drive.

A man was arrested at a business in the 200 block of North Block Street for allegedly doing drugs inside the business. The man was also a suspect in a burglary in Ephrata, which he admitted to and stated he traded stolen items for drugs. The man was booked into the Grant County Jail for second-degree burglary, second-degree trafficking stolen property, attempted second-degree vehicle prowling and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An ATV was reported stolen.

A man reported gas stolen.

A woman reported four subjects outside a vehicle parked where nobody was supposed to park.

A tractor was reported stolen.

A woman reported a camper trailer stolen.

A man reported his vehicle stolen.

A woman reported that she needed to pick up her child and her ex wasn’t answering his phone.

A woman reported that a male subject had come to her residence accusing her dog of biting him.

A woman reported that her boyfriend had been drinking and was acting crazy.

July 20

A woman reported that her ex had taken her child and driven off “all crazy.” She further reported that the ex does not have a license and that when she tried to remove the child from the vehicle he slammed the door on her.

A suspicious male in a U-Haul van was reportedly acting strangely and asking people for a vehicle.


Grant County Jail

July 19

Ruben Sabedra, 27, of Ephrata, was booked for third-degree assault, resisting arrest, third-degree malicious mischief and two Grant County District Court warrants.

Juan Mendez, 42, of Moses Lake, was arrested on a Department of Corrections order.

Joshua Davis, 32, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a DOC arrest and detention order.

Hernan Ruano, 35, of Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Juan Montemayor Jr., 31, of Warden, was booked on a DOC secretary’s warrant.

Richard Irwin III, 27, of Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree trafficking stolen property, second-degree burglary, second-degree vehicle prowl, possession of drug paraphernalia and a GCDC warrant.

Elaine Arriola, 33, of Concrete, was booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

Mark Stephens, 27, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC secretary’s warrant.

Earl Hernandez, 22, of Mattawa, was booked for residential burglary, second-degree malicious mischief, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Misty Atkins, 32, of Wenatchee, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Bianca Espinoza, 26, of Quincy, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.

July 20

Ryan Oltman, 35, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for violating a no-contact order.
