Merle A. Durbin

April 23, 1937 – July 13, 2016

Merle was born in Eugene, Oregon on April 23, 1937, son of Earl and Helen (Devitt). He graduated from Moses Lake High School. After graduating, Merle joined the Navy and after his honorable discharge he worked as a supplier in wholesale plumbing in California. He returned to Moses Lake after retiring. He enjoyed golfing on a regular basis with his brother.

Survivors includes two sisters, Sandra Hatley and Patricia Solomon; nephews, Dan (Gina) Durbin, Earl (Roxanne) Durbin, Jeff Solomon and Randall J. (Annette) Hatley; nieces, Dee (Tom) Shaffer, Kathleen Johnson and Roxanne Reindel. Merle was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Durbin.
