A woman reported someone broke out the rear driver’s side window of her vehicle in the 2300 block of West Lakeside Drive and keyed the paint on her car.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for fourth-degree assault after assaulting a 43-year-old woman.

Report of a possible wanted person at a gas station on East Kittleson Road. The man was contacted and advised he was traveling cross country and had run out of fuel.

Report of a window broken out at a residence in the 700 block of South Burress Avenue. Photos were reportedly taken from the house and estimated damages were put between $300 and $400.

Two subjects reportedly approached an off-duty deputy at the intersection on Yonezawa Boulevard and South Division Street and asked the deputy if they wanted to buy a generator. The subjects were able to produce paperwork for the generator when contacted by Moses Lake police.

Report of a ceramic rabbit stolen off of the front porch of a residence in the 200 block of East Sixth Avenue.

Police contacted three boys who were reportedly playing tag on the roof of Peninsula Elementary School. The boys were transported home and released to their parents.

Report of possible animal cruelty in the Walmart parking lot. Police arrived at the scene and located two dogs in a parked vehicle. The owner of the dogs was advised to have fresh water available and to leave a window cracked for fresh air.

A woman told police a family member was providing an elderly female drugs at a residence in the 500 block of North Earl Road. The report was determined to be unfounded.


Grant County Jail

July 14

Charles Parks Jr., 56, of Coulee City, was arrested for a Grant County District Court warrant.

Slade Fortner, 23, of Royal City, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.

Salvador Chavez, 32, of Desert Aire, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle and a GCDC warrant.

Sahlly Trevino, 28, of Pasco, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and a Department of Corrections secretary’s warrant.

David Sanders, 27, of Moses Lake, was arrested for GCDC warrants.

Kyle Schulz, 32, of Ephrata, was arrested for a DOC arrest and detention order.

Christopher Apodaca, 33, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
