Police problems can be overcome

| July 14, 2016 1:42 PM

Somebody asked me how I feel about the police’s recent shootings and deaths. With tears in my eyes and sorrow in my heart, I said, “In every state you have good cops and bad cops, but the few bad cops spoil the many good cops.”

Some things will never change, but with justice and love we can overcome many unnecessary problems between police and citizens. One good lesson for every police officer to learn is that not all blacks are criminals and drug dealers. In every group not all people are the same. That’s why it’s so important for cops to get out of their cars and get to know the people they serve and protect.

As always, evil prevails when good man fail to act. To the good cops, start speaking up and removing the few bad cops from your department. Then things will get better again between cops sand citizens. Together we can overcome anything.
