July 6

A man was trespassed from a truck stop in the 1800 block of East Kittleson Road after he was panhandling in front of the business.

A man reported someone used his wife’s name and Social Security number to gain employment. Investigation revealed the issue was a clerical error at an employment agency and it would be corrected.

Report of a chain link fence cut at a car lot in the 1200 block of West Broadway Avenue sometime within the last week. A person reportedly removed and stole a gas tank from a Chrysler mini-van in the car lot.

A 17-year-old boy was reportedly shopping at a business in the 1200 block of South Pioneer Way and left the store momentarily without paying for an item. The business did not want to pursue charges or trespass the boy, as the incident appeared to be accidental.

Police contacted a woman at a bar in the 200 block of West Broadway Avenue after she said she left her wallet in the bar. A bar employee and two customers said they never saw the wallet and officers helped her search for it, but the wallet was not found. Police were later called back to the bar after the woman returned and demanded her wallet. The woman was trespassed from the location for 24 hours, but refused to leave and was arrested for trespassing.

Report of numerous items stolen out of a vehicle in the 900 block of West Polo Ridge Drive.

A man who was driving with a suspended license reportedly pulled in front of an officer on Dogwood Street. The man drove into the McCosh Park parking lot and fled on foot into the park. A methamphetamine pipe was located on the front passenger seat and the vehicle was towed to the MLPD impound lot, where it will be searched when a warrant is obtained.

Report of two men fighting outside of a residence in the 1700 block of West Bemis Street. Police responded to the scene and were advised the incident was a verbal argument, not physical.

Report of a man stealing a pair of shoes from a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road.

A man reported his housekeeper stole about $3,000 from his residence in the 1000 block of South Skyline Drive.


Grant County Sheriff’s Office

July 6

Money in the amount of $3,000 was reported stolen.

A male subject was reported riding a four-wheeler with a small female on his lap.

A GPS receiver was reported stolen from a business.

A male subject reportedly went to a residence where he wasn’t supposed to be and assaulted his sister.

An older female was reported at a gas station acting strangely and yelling at herself.

A woman reported that her 31-year-old son was going crazy and throwing things at her husband.

A man reported witnessing a drug deal.

A fire pit table was reported stolen.

A man reported that sand was being stolen from his pump house.

A suspicious semi truck and trailer were reported parked where they should not be,

Multiple reports were received of fireworks being set off.


Grant County Jail

July 5

Norman Moore, 52, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

Carlos Silva Jr., 19, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for obstruction of a law enforcement officer, a GCSC bench warrant and a warrant out of Benton County.

Elkana Mulamba, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked for residential burglary.

Carlos Romero, 19, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.

Jeffery Willis, 43, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Fordenn Palmanteer, 63, of Loon Lake, was booked on two GCDC warrants.

Nicholas Brice, 34, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.

Bradley Yearout, 22, of Warden, was arrested for a Department of Corrections violation.

Jared Bowie, 28, of Burien, was arrested and booked for making false statements, resisting arrest, a GCDC warrant and a Pierce County bench warrant.

July 6

Tyler Gladden, 21, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for a DOC probation violation.

Jesus Lemos, 24, of Schawana, was arrested and booked for second-degree criminal trespassing.

Kevin Oshea, 32, of Moses Lake, was booked for a DOC arrest and detention order for probation violation.

Gary Hill, 45, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a DOC warrant.

Sergio Corrales Jr., 22, of Mattawa, was arrested and booked for a probation violation.

Danielle Linney, 32, of Ephrata, was booked on a GCDC warrant.
