Support Nick Wallace for Superior Court Judge

| July 7, 2016 1:01 PM

As you read this, there are 124 days left until Nov. 8, Election Day. Ah, a sigh of relief!

Saturday, July 2, we had the opportunity to go to Soap Lake for their Fourth of July parade. We were all marching in support of Nick Wallace for Superior Court judge. The parade route was short, but fun. Along the way, we met a lot of nice, cheering people. I was particularly impressed by all the military vets, especially one Vietnam vet. He stood at attention and gave the neatest, sharpest salute I’ve ever seen. So proud! I am teaching my 11-year-old to approach a known vet, shake hands and say, “Thank you for your service.” After all, where would we be without them? So thanks, Soap Lake, and all the vets of Grant County.

On Tuesday, July 19, at the CB Tech Center on Yonezawa, from I believe 6-9 p.m., there will be a political forum with all the candidates who are seeking office. Of course, I encourage all of you to pay particular attention to Nick Wallace and learn more about Nick and his superior qualifications to be our next Grant County Superior Court judge.

The Grant County Bar Association surveys of local judges and local attorneys ranked Nick Wallace the highest in all categories: legal ability, judicial temperament, integrity, relevant legal experience and suitability. Another big factor: Nick is endorsed by the Honorable Evan Sperline (retired), Grant County Clerk Kimberly A. Allen and Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones.

Remember to vote in the primary and especially Nov. 8. Our vets expect it of us all.
