NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible in the County Commissioners Meeting Room of the Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington 99301 to take testimony for and against establishing Franklin County’s proposed Ordinance repealing previously adopted Ordinance #3-2013 and adopting the 2015 International Building Code with Washington State Amendments: the 2015 International Residential Code; the 2015 Existing Building Code; the 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code; the 2015 International Mechanical Code; the 2015 International Fuel Gas Code; the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code; the 2015 Uniform Swimming Pool & Spa Code;the 2015 International Zoning Code - Chapter 10; the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code; and the 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings.

The full-text of the proposed regulations are available in the Planning & Building Department at the Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Room A101, Pasco, Washington 99301, and will be mailed upon request or by calling (509) 545-3521 to answer any questions. All interested persons are invited to attend. Letters from interested persons will be included as part of the record if received prior to 9:00 a.m. on July 20, 2016.
