A woman reported her vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Police could not locate the woman’s vehicle on Walmart’s video surveillance of the parking lot.

A woman turned herself in at the Moses Lake Police Department on a warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license. Police were unaware the vehicle she was in was stolen, which was left in front of the MLPD on South Balsam Street. The suspect called the vehicle owner, who declined to pursue charges against the woman.

A business in the 1700 block of West Broadway Avenue reported an unknown person is sending them “glitter bombs,” which spread glitter everywhere when they are opened.

Police contacted a man at the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park who was not being cooperative with staff. The man agreed to move to a different location and will be trespassed from the water park if he is defiant with staff in the future.

Report of a suspicious male sleeping in the sun next to a beer at McCosh Park. The man claimed the beer belonged to his friend and gave police a false name and date of birth. The man was found to be 20 and was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and making false statements.

Report of a wallet stolen out of a car parked in the Walmart parking lot on June 26.

Report of a man driving at a high rate of speed on Century Drive. Police could not contact the alleged driver of the car.

A woman reported she was punched in the face by another woman who did not like her in the 800 block of South Winona Street. The victim did not want police to intervene and did not have serious injuries.

June 29

Levi Camacho, 20, of Moses Lake, was booked for minor in possession of alcohol and resisting arrest.

Nathan Mulliner, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections warrant.

Christopher Apodaca, 33, of Moses Lake, was booked for possession of methamphetamine and a Grant County District Court warrant.

Javier Contreras, 36, of Beverly, was booked for felon in possession of a firearm, a DOC secretary’s warrant and a warrant out of Benton County.

Julian Ortiz, 29, of Othello, was arrested for a DOC order.

Francisco Sanchez, 32, of Moses Lake, was arrested for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and GCDC warrants.

Adelelmo Beltran Jr., 25, of Quincy, was arrested and booked for indecent exposure.

Frank Rikansrud, 49, of Ephrata, was booked on two GCDC warrants.

June 30

Zackery Mayer, 24, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for third-degree malicious mischief.

Vernon Meyers, 58, of Moses Lake, was booked on two GCDC warrants and a Othello District Court warrant.
