Jan. 24
- Report of a vehicle prowl at a business at 1165 North Stratford Rd. Cellphone stolen from the vehicle.
- A man, no age given, was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
- Report of a vehicle prowl at a business at 9933 Northeast Kinder Rd. Passenger window was broken and steering column was damaged.
- A 25-year-old man was arrested on four outstanding warrants and for violating a no-contact order.
- Report of a vehicle prowl at a business at 619 North Stratford Rd. Suspect entered the vehicle and stole a DVD player and speakers. The case is still under investigation.
- A 34-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant after he and another subject tried to buy a “meth pipe” over the counter.
- Report of stolen vehicle in the 500 block of South Clover Drive. Vehicle was later recovered, but thieves stole clothing and tools.
- Report of burglary at a home in the 3800 block of East Broadway Ave. Unknown subjects shut off the main electrical breaker and kicked in the residence’s back door. They stole numerous items including home electronics, jewelry and stamp collections.
- A 41-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
- Report of burglary in the 1100 block of South Alderwood Drive. Unknown subject entered victim’s residence and stole totes with jewelry inside.
- Report of two-vehicle accident at the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and South Alder Street. Vehicle 1 was stopped and was rear-ended by vehicle 2.
- Report of vandalism sometime overnight to a vehicle parked in the 900 block of East Hill Avenue. Car was scratched and tires slashed.
- Report of vehicle prowl at a business located at 1500 East Wheeler Rd. Sometime between 5 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Sunday, unknown subjects cut the back fence and broke windows and searched two vehicles. The case is still under investigation.
- A 33-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for an outstanding warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Jan. 25
- Report of vehicle stolen sometime overnight from the street in front of a residence in the 700 block of South Catalpa Street. Vehicle was later spotted by a friend of the reporting party and recovered.
- Report of two-vehicle accident at a business at 5219 Northeast Patton Blvd. Driver of vehicle 1 said he didn’t see vehicle 2 and backed into it.
- Report of one-vehicle accident in the 1500 block of East Wheeler Road. Driver of vehicle 1 was driving east and hit a patch of ice, jumping the curb and damaging a fence. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
- Report of graffiti painted on all four sides of the restrooms at Knolls Vista Park.
- A man turned himself in at the Washington Department of Corrections office and was booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding warrants for third-degree theft and possession of stolen property.
- Report of check fraud. The victim wrote a check on a Moses Lake business at 12056 North Frontage Rd.; the check was stolen from the business, the check was rewritten and cashed for $1,000 in Oregon.
- Report of graffiti on the bathrooms at Peninsula Park.
- Report of graffiti painted on a fence in the 2600 block of West Texas Street.
- Report of mailbox broken off its stand at an apartment complex in the 300 block of West Sixth Avenue.
- Report of cellphone stolen in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue.
- Report of burglary in the 1200 block of South Balsam Street. Unknown suspect entered the apartment sometime between 7 and 11 a.m., while people were sleeping, and stole home electronics, cellphones and video games.
- Report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Yonezawa Boulevard and South Maiers Road. Vehicle 2 was westbound on Yonezawa, while vehicle 1 was stopped at the stop sign on Maiers. Driver of vehicle 2 said she didn’t see vehicle 1 and drove through the intersection, running into vehicle 1. She was cited for failure to yield.
- Report of theft. Reporting party said sometime over the past few days prescribed medications and money had been stolen from her purse.
- Report of vehicle prowl in the 3500 block of West Glenmoor Drive. Victim said a snowboard valued at about $300 was stolen from his vehicle sometime over the weekend. The snow board is described as gray with black trimming.
- A 43-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding warrants for DUI, second-degree driving without a driver’s license and driving without an ignition interlock. He was arrested after the car he was riding in was stopped for a possible violation.
- A 26-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding warrant for third-degree theft.
- Report of attempted vehicle prowl in the 1100 block of East Hill Avenue. Reporting party said she interrupted the man before he could get away, and she recovered the items. He was described as a light-skinned male with glasses, wearing a black and red sweatshirt and jeans and riding a black BMX-style bike,

Jan. 24
- EPD responded to the 200 block of E Street Southwest for the attempted burglary of a garage.
- A female was reportedly assaulted in D Street Southwest.
- EPD received a report of theft by someone who was trespassed from the store. The subject stole again and was booked on burglary.
- Sean M. Miller, 32, Quincy, was arrested for second-degree burglary.
- Ann L. Fazio, 62, Ephrata, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
- Angelica M. Garcia, 21, Moses Lake, was arrested for no ignition interlock, no insurance, no registration, and driving with a suspended license.
- Orlando N. Rivera, 28, Ephrata, was arrested for malicious mischief.
- Chelsea N. Hood, 22, Ephrata, was arrested for failure to appear/no valid operator’s license.
- Derrick E. Johnson, 22, Ephrata, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, no insurance, and tabs that expired more than two months ago.
- Daniel Alcala, 20, Quincy, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, failure to appear, and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Jan. 24
- A female reportedly knocked on the door and threw a piece of wood at another female’s house.
- A female’s girlfriend reportedly scratched her then scratched herself.
- Deputies received a tip on a subject with a warrant after a neighbor saw him at his girlfriend’s house. He is reportedly not supposed to be on the property.
- A man reportedly heard shots fired and saw subjects harassing birds with fully automatic weapons.
- An ATM was reportedly broken into between Alkali Lake and Lake Lenore.
- Deputies received a report of a subject in a blue pickup truck who drove up to a duplex, and kicked in a door. He then came outside and picked up something in the yard, smashed it, and took off in the pickup truck.
- A female reportedly caught a male trying to take stuff from her vehicle. He said he was coming to get the vehicle for someone in jail.
- A woman told deputies she thinks someone is in her mother’s vacation home. She had seen lights turned on and off in the home.
- A man’s truck was reportedly stolen. It was a red Dodge Dakota club cab with rocks in the back.
- A man reported being hit by his wife.
- Deputies received a report from a female, saying her ex was drunk and took all her keys.
- Deputies received a report from someone believing a woman was in distress. The reporting party said the woman was forced into a vehicle and made to drive by a male.
Jan. 25
- A dog was reportedly stolen out of a woman’s vehicle.
- A woman reportedly found that a white and red puppy had been dropped off at her residence.
- A man reportedly received a fraudulent call about a faulty IP address.
- A mother reported that her daughter was threatened by another female at the junior high.
- A female was reportedly harassed by a male subject in a brown truck. He allegedly followed her, then pointed something at her and laughed.
- Deputies received a report of a suspicious vehicle. A woman said it keeps coming around her residence and has no reason to be there because she lives out in the country.
- A female reportedly saw suspicious people take a semi-automatic weapon into a residence. She said it looked like they were hiding from the police.
- A woman told deputies her daughter was receiving indecent text messages.
- A male reported his vehicle stolen.
- A woman was reportedly assaulted by her grandson.
- A grandmother reported her grandson missing. He had asked to stay out until 8 p.m., but had not returned.
