PROJECT: The cutting and filling of approximately 40,000 cubic yards of earth for the purpose of creating an approximately 2,000,000 gallon water retention pond on a 92.20-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on January 14, 2016 from Dorsing Farms. (Designated Contact: Patrick Dorsing, 3408 SE Rd 10.5, Othello, WA 99344 509-750-1232), were found to be technically complete on January 21, 2016. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. PROJECT: The cutting and filling of approximately 40,000 cubic yards of earth for the purpose of creating an approximately 2,000,000 gallon water retention pond on a 92.20-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject area is a portion of Parcel #21-0099-000.The subject area is approximately 14.4 miles northeast of Royal City, WA. It is also located approximately 1,200 feet east of the 10.5 Rd SE and H Rd SE intersection, and is in the northwest corner of Section 28, Township 17 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA. ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
