February 17, 1959 – January 22, 2016

Mary Nan Davis (Willey) passed away on Jan. 22, 2016 at the age of 56. She was born on Feb. 17, 1959 in Walla Walla, Wash. to Robert and Estella Willey. She was the youngest of four children and was raised from the age of 4 in Moses Lake where she spent the rest of her life.

Nan graduated from Moses Lake High School in the class of 1977. Nan worked for 26 years at the Hallmark Inn in a variety of positions, the last as acting general manager. Most recently she was a receptionist in a local medical practice. Her work life never defined her, though. Nan loved being a mom to her two sons, Steven and Vawn (Bo) Davis. She was known for organizing amazing birthday parties and events for her kids and others. Nan was passionate about her church, Desert Springs, and service to the Lord and church community. She mentored, supported and gave to many in need of shelter,! food, clothing or funds. Other things she loved included her pet dogs, her friends and singing.

In addition to her sons, she is survived by her mother, sister Laura of Eugene, Ore., her brother Mark of San Antonio Texas and nieces and nephews. Her father and her brother Buddy pre-deceased her.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Faith Communities Desert Springs Church, 940 E. Nelson Road, in Moses Lake. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to a fund to help her sons. Donations for Steven and Vawn (Bo) Davis in care of Desert Springs Community Church, PO Box 1316, Moses Lake WA 98837.
