Moses Lake Police Department

Jan. 22

  • A 24-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding warrant.
  • Report of a burglary in a house damaged in a fire in the 2000 block of West Peninsula Drive. Home electronics and collectibles were stolen. The case is still under investigation.
  • Report of theft from a business at 1005 North Stratford Road. A 24-year-old man, 19-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman were charged with third-degree theft.
  • Report of a flag stolen sometime overnight from a fraternal organization at 1517 West Broadway Ave.
  • Report of possible mail theft. Subject said she paid a bill with a check sent through the mail, but the payment never arrived.
  • A 17-year-old boy was arrested and booked into Grant County Juvenile for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • A 20-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for violation of a temporary protection order.
  • Report of vehicle prowl in the 2100 block of West Willow Street. A baseball was thrown through the window of the reporting party’s vehicle and speakers were stolen.
  • Report of a two-vehicle accident at South Division Street and East Seventh Avenue. Vehicle 2 was southbound on Division Street and was rear-ended by vehicle 1. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for following too close.
  • A juvenile was arrested and booked into Grant County Juvenile for malicious mischief and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • Report of attempted entry into a residence in the 1000 block of South Division Street. Unknown suspect broke a window but did not go inside.
  • Report of vehicle prowl in the 1000 block of South Eastlake Drive.
  • A 20-year-old woman was cited and released for minor in possession and minor frequenting a tavern after she was found consuming alcohol at a business at 204 West Broadway Ave.

 

Jan. 23

  • A 37-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to steal items from a business at 2709 West Broadway Ave.
  • A 19-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding warrant, and a 21-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing a law enforcement officer.
  • A 55-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding warrants.
  • Two juveniles were charged with third-degree theft and trespassed from a business at 905 South Pioneer Way after allegedly stealing liquor and fleeing on foot.
  • Report of two juveniles stealing about $90 in merchandise from a business at 200 East Broadway Ave.
  • Report of vehicle prowl. Unknown subject broke out a window in a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of South Grand Drive and stole the spare tire. Cost of tire and repairing damage was estimated at about $200.
  • Report of two-vehicle accident at 208 West Valley Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 made an improper U-turn and struck vehicle 2 as it was traveling in the westbound lane. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for improper U-turn.
  • Report of fraud at a business at 2135 West Main St. Reporting parties were attempting to purchase merchandise, when a man told them he was an employee, took their money and walked away.
  • A 31-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
  • A 32-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant and for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to steal items from a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd.
  • Two juveniles were arrested on outstanding warrants.

Ephrata Police Department

Jan. 22

  • EPD responded to a report of harassment-in-progress in the 100 block of E Street Southeast. A female said a subject drove past her house four to five times, yelling and calling her names.
  • EPD was dispatched to the Senior Thrift Store for a report of theft.
  • EPD received a report of suspicious persons in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest.
  • A female reported a possible court order violation.
  • EPD received a report of a vehicle theft.
  • A female reportedly received a threat via social media.

 

Jan. 23

  • EPD was dispatched to the 2200 block of Basin Street Southwest for a burglary.
  • EPD received a report from Columbia Basin Hospital about a patient who left the facility and couldn’t be located.
  • EPD arrested a subject with a warrant at a traffic stop.
  • EPD arrested a subject after returning to a residence he was trespassed from. While there, he engaged in a heated argument and kicked walkway lamps, causing damage. EPD also found a baggie with white powder.

Jan. 22

  • A female reported the theft of scales and mineral rocks.
  • A man reportedly caught someone breaking into his house trying to take his truck.
  • A male reported a burglary that occurred Thursday.
  • A female reported that her neighbor’s residence was broken into.
  • Deputies received a report of a stolen saddle.
  • A man reported the theft of copper.
  • A man reported his son missing again.
  • A female was reportedly threatened by her ex via text messages.
  • Two males were reportedly involved in a fight during which the older male took the younger male to the ground.
  • A girl’s father reported that she ran away after not returning home from school.
  • A female reportedly heard her neighbor’s security alarm going off.
  • A man reportedly heard someone outside his residence shooting and hitting his house.
  • Deputies received a report of an unwanted person. The reporting party’s roommate moved a friend in, and she is not welcome.
  • A female’s residence was reportedly broken into.

 

Jan. 23

  • A female reported that her neighbor came out and yelled at her friend.
  • Deputies received a report of people doing meth in a trailer at the end of Spokane Boulevard.
  • A female reported that her residence had just been burglarized. She said the subjects took a pink bag full of clothes and took off in a Jeep.
  • A female reported that two dogs were chasing cats and are hiding in her carport.
  • Deputies received a report from a female saying her oldest son was kidnapped by his father.
  • Six dogs reportedly tried to attack a man walking his dogs.
  • An ambulance was requested for a subject’s uncle who was reportedly trying to overdose on his medications.
  • The side window of a woman’s vehicle was reportedly shot with a BB gun.
  • A female was reportedly struck in the face by her intoxicated husband.
  • A man reported that his son’s bike was stolen.
  • A mother requested that deputies come speak to her daughter, who was yelling at her mother because she wasn’t allowed to go somewhere.
  • Deputies received a report of subjects flashing gang signs at vehicles that stopped at a stop sign.
  • A man’s wife reportedly came home upset, screaming, throwing things and pushing him.
  • A man reported his brother missing. He was supposed to be home at 9 and never returned home.
  • A female’s cat was reportedly injured by a pit bull in the area. She said she has an air pellet gun in case the dog returns.
  • A man reportedly threatened to beat up another man in a dispute over money.

Jan. 22

  • Salvador Rose, 24, of Moses Lake, was arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence and a Grant County District Court warrant.
  • Johnathan Wilt, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on second-degree trespassing, second-degree vehicle prowling, second-degree malicious mischief and third-degree theft.
  • Allen Smith, 56, of Moses Lake, was arrested for second-degree criminal trespassing, third-degree malicious mischief, third-degree theft and second-degree vehicle prowling.
  • Victor Sanchez, 29, of Ephrata, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Patrick Nichols, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
  • Raymond Atchison, 38, of Electric City, was arrested for a Department of Corrections arrest order.
  • Noel Alaniz, 56, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC commitment to serve one day.
  • Chance Ulman, 30, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a DOC warrant.
  • Daniel Alcala, 20, of Quincy, was arrested and booked on two Grant County District Court warrants.
  • Anthony Lalk, 20, of Moses Lake, was booked on violation of a domestic violence protection order.
  • Dion Brown, 28, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked for disorderly conduct, two counts of third-degree assault (law enforcement officer) and harassment.
