Moses Lake Police Department
Jan. 21
- Report of suspicious circumstances involving a man trying to sell motorcycle parts and later scrapping the parts on South Frontage Road. The suspect was gone upon police arrival.
- A baby was reportedly delivered at Samaritan Hospital and tested positive for methamphetamine. Child Protective Services took custody of the baby and the mother's other children.
- Report of a found men's wallet in the middle of South Division Street.
- Report of two juveniles possibly looking into vehicles in a parking lot in the 900 block of West Central Drive. Upon arrival an officer contacted a juvenile inside a vehicle and was advised another juvenile had walked inside a business to use the restroom.
- A man reported an aggravated man was knocking on his door in the 500 block of South Trillium Way. Police later located the suspect in a vehicle and he reportedly lied about his name and was arrested on a confirmed warrant. Police reportedly found meth in a pill bottle between the suspect's legs and a gun under his seat.
- A man was apprehended by Walmart security after reportedly concealing a package of markers in his coat and leaving the store without paying for the markers.
- A woman reported the back window of her vehicle was broken out in the 2200 block of West Broadway Avenue.
- A woman was reportedly seen stuffing items into her jacket in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Employees did not know what items were taken and when confronted, the woman reportedly yelled at employees and fled on foot.
- Police were unable to locate a subject who allegedly had a gun in the 1100 block of West Gem Avenue.
- A man reported some items were stolen out of his unlocked truck in the 800 block of South Ironwood Drive.

- A woman reported a person in a white SUV watched her leave her house.
- A woman advised of two dogs running at large on a road. The woman said the dog killed several cats earlier in the day and in the past.
- A woman reported her cat was shot.
- A woman reported her 14-year-old daughter was harassed by a 21-year-old man.
- Experience Powersports advised of a man who came into their store and attempted to sell some motorcycle parts believed to be stolen.
- A man contacted deputies and advised he needed a deputy because he had been "jumped."
- A woman told deputies her neighbor's dog keeps digging underneath a fence and runs loose around her neighborhood.
- A man advised deputies of two subjects dressed all in black on his neighbor's lot.
- A woman reported someone was flashing green lasers into the eyes of drivers passing by.

- Kimberly Halstead, 22, of Moses Lake, was booked on two Grant County District Court warrants.
- Alfredo Chavez, 18, of Peshastin, was booked on a GCDC warrant.
- Trever Jewell, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.
- John Monday, 29, of Othello, was arrested and booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
- Amanda Robinson, 31, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.
- Abigail Morris, 39, of Ephrata, was booked for a GCSC warrant.
- Randy James, 18, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and a Department of Corrections arrest order.
- Richard Karas, 46, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on second-degree assault domestic violence.

- William Young, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on two GCDC warrant.
