Jan. 19

  • Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party received a call claiming she owed back taxes and demanding immediate payment. Reporting party thought it was fraud; law enforcement officers said it’s a popular scam right now.
  • Report of possible theft in the 200 block of West Nelson Road. Case is still under investigation.
  • Report of gas line cut on a bus at the Head Start facility, 1109 South Juniper Dr.
  • Report of hit and run accident at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. The reporting party said an unknown red vehicle hit her parked car.
  • Report of window broken on a car parked at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Window was valued at $200.
  • A 37-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). A 48-year-old woman was arrested and booked into jail on four outstanding out of county warrants.
  • A 44-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to steal about $25 in merchandise from a business at 1014 West Broadway Ave.
  • A juvenile, no age given, was cited for third-degree theft after allegedly attempting to steal about $25 in merchandise from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way.
  • A 52-year-old woman was cited for third-degree theft after allegedly stealing items for two days from a business at 1014 West Broadway Ave.
  • A 76-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for DUI.
  • A 22-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for possession of heroin and possession of a dangerous weapon.

  • Deputies received a report of two females fighting.
  • A man told deputies his wife and daughter were arguing.
  • The theft of a license plate was reported.
  • A man reported that his neighbor was stealing fire wood.
  • A female reported that a 19-year-old male struck his father.
  • A male was reportedly seen walking in the back yards of several houses.
  • Deputies received a report of the theft of a tarp. Tire tracks and foot prints were left behind.
  • Deputies received a tip on a wanted person at a white house with wooden shingles.
  • A female reported her husband missing. He has Alzheimer’s and left the house without shoes.
  • A woman reported that her grandson ran away after he did not return home from school.
  • A money card was reportedly stolen from the Red Cross.
  • A female called deputies after her brother was reportedly calling her names.
  • Deputies received a report of an unwelcome subject in an apartment with a gun in his belt.
  • Deputies received a report of a truck driving erratically after hitting an owl.
  • A female reportedly saw a black male shoot at a house across the street.

 

Jan. 16

  • A mother told deputies her son has a warrant and is home.
  • A man reportedly threatened to kill his pregnant girlfriend.
  • A woman was reportedly followed home by a vehicle that stopped at the beginning of her road and keeps slowly driving past her house.
  • Deputies received a report of a gang-related domestic violence.
  • A female reportedly had her license plates stolen from the mail.
  • A mother told deputies her 19-year-old son needs to be evicted. He was not to be at the house and had reportedly returned.
  • A man’s son reportedly came home with a black eye after visiting the reporting party’s ex.
  • A female reported fraud. She said subjects got into her renter’s account and took all her money.
  • Deputies received a report of a small baby cow in the road.
  • Batteries were reportedly stolen from a man’s residence.
  • A male reported receiving threatening and harassing text messages.
  • A suspicious subject was reportedly seen sneaking up to a house before taking off running.
  • A female reported that her mother pushed her father down. The mother also threatened to hit the daughter and broke her father’s phone.
  • A female reportedly asked a neighbor to call deputies, saying someone was beating her up.

 

Jan. 17

  • A man reportedly heard gunshots, but didn’t see anyone.
  • Deputies received a report of possible alcohol poisoning. A 25-year-old male was breathing, but not conscious, when his friend called deputies.
  • A female’s pills were stolen.
  • A woman reportedly left the house with her child after being hit by her husband.
  • A woman’s sister was reportedly taking things from her grandparent’s house.
  • A man reportedly had a tire stolen from his vehicle.
  • A female visited a friend’s house and got in a fight with him. He reportedly hit her car.
  • A male reported that his girlfriend was fighting with her mother.
  • Deputies received a report of a female with stolen items in her purse, currently in a vehicle in a parking lot, while the driver was in a store.
  • A man reportedly heard fighting outside, during which girls were screaming and someone mentioned pulling out a .38.

 

Jan. 18

  • Gunshots were heard outside of a house.
  • A subject heard of a party going on at his deceased grandmother’s home and requested that deputies check it out.
  • A female reported seeing someone near her fire pit when she took her dog outside. The subject took off running.
  • A woman reported that her neighbor was in front of her car with a hatchet and appeared to be on some sort of drugs.
  • Subjects were reportedly fighting outside of Starbucks.
  • A mother told deputies her 15-year-old son has decided to live somewhere else and left.
  • A former employee sent harassing text messages to his former employers.
  • A male reported that someone had attempted to break into his residence.
  • A female saw someone attempting to siphon gas.
  • Four subjects were seen fighting at the park.
  • A male in a black hoodie was reportedly going door to door and ringing doorbells.

  • Catina Shue, 41, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Grant County District Court warrant.
  • Juan Bernal, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree rape of a child (multiple counts) and child molestation.
  • Serena Rauen, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
  • Kashia Finney, 18, of Yakima, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Falisha Hancock, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant.
  • Keitha Holman, 34, of Renton, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Jeremy Parr, 38, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections arrest order.
  • Kenneth Randall, 25, of Omak, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Jose Tapia, 22, was arrested for two Grant County Superior Court warrants and a Benton County warrant.
  • Agustin Cervantes, 28, of Royal City, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Pete Lopez, 32, of Moses Lake, was arrested for two GCDC warrants.

  • Bradley Yearout, 22, of Warden, was arrested and booked on possession of heroin and possession of a dangerous weapon.
  • Daniel Zellmer, 63, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on harassment (threats to kill) and interfering with a healthcare facility.
