Moses Lake Police Department

Jan. 18

  • A 39-year-old man was trespassed from a business at 120 Hamilton Rd. after the owners asked him to move his car and he refused.
  • Report of theft from a mailbox in the 8700 block of Vince Road Northeast. Reporting party had left checks in the mailbox Dec. 21, and was contacted by recipients who never got the checks. Missing checks had not been cashed.
  • An 18-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants and trespassed from a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd.
  • Report of attempt to break into a vehicle at a business at 705 South Pioneer Way.
  • Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said he received a phone call from a man claiming to be with Internal Revenue Service, saying the reporting party owed money. Police said the call was a scam because the IRS sends notices through the mail.
  • Report of a hit-and-run accident at a business at 1147 West Broadway Ave. Vehicle 2 was hit in the business parking lot and the driver of vehicle 1 fled the scene. Video showed vehicle 1 to be a white Ford F250 pickup.
  • A 34-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on two outstanding warrants for third-degree theft.

Ephrata Police Department

Jan. 18

  • A push-out (of a cart full of unpaid-for merchandise) was reported at Walmart. The subject fled.
  • A theft-in-progress was reported at Walmart. The items were recovered and the subject fled on foot.
  • EPD was dispatched to Cottage Street Southeast for a disturbance. A subject was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • A female reported the theft of her cellphone.
  • While picking up statements from a previous incident, EPD received a report of an assault. A juvenile female was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • Theft was reported in the 500 block of Basin Street Northwest.
  • A bicycle was reportedly stolen in the 200 block of D Street Southwest.
  • EPD received a report of a juvenile out of control in the 1100 block of Second Avenue Northeast. The juvenile was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).
  • A male, 13, Ephrata, was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).
  • A female, 15, Ephrata, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • Blake A. Butler, 18, Ephrata, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
  • Zachery N. Allen, 22, Soap Lake, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Grant County Jail

Jan. 18

  • Brandon Cirame, 28, of Wheeler, was arrested and booked on five counts of felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of stolen property, and two counts of trafficking in stolen property.
  • Jacqueline Lence, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested for two Grant County District Court warrants.
  • Johnathan Matte, 18, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a GCDC warrant, a Chelan County warrant and a Douglas County warrant.
  • Jason Gibbens, 34, of Moses Lake, was booked on two GCDC warrants.

 

Jan. 19

  • Ryan Smith, 31, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrrant and a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
