William A Boyle

William A. Boyle passed away Jan. 13 in Bellingham, Wash. Bill was born in 1927 to Robert and Emeline Boyle in Bellingham. He grew up in Ferndale and Bellingham. He graduated from high school and college from St. Martin’s in Olympia, then attended the University of Washington.

Bill’s career included military service, a stint as a professional baseball player, the FBI and Nalley’s Corporation. In Moses Lake, he operated Boyle’s Plaza grocery store from 1962 to 1976 and ran the Fogcutter restaurant from 1976 to 1986. After retirement from the restaurant he worked in real estate until 2003. He also owned race horses.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; son, Tony (Mary); daughters, Kathy, Anne (Greg), Kelli (Paul) and Trish (Bryan); grandchildren, Theresa, Luke, Elizabeth, Justin, Niccole, Rachael, Joe, Nathan, Madison and Tyler; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brothers Maurice and Michael and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
