Moses Lake Police Department
Jan. 14
- A student at Frontier Middle School reportedly attacked another student in a hallway. The student was charged for assault and released to a parent.
- Two students at Moses Lake High School reportedly got into a physical altercation after one of the students stole the other's cell phone. One of the students reportedly received a black eye and was taken to the hospital.
- A woman was arrested after reportedly attempting to cash a bad check at a store in the 700 block of West Third Avenue. The woman was reportedly wanted in connection with other fraud cases and was transported to jail for the fraud charge and a warrant.
- Employees at a salon in the 100 block of West Broadway Avenue told police a man entered the salon and solicited the employees to buy two puppies. The man reportedly left the area on Broadway Avenue. Police could not locate the suspect.
- A woman reportedly entered Walmart and attempted to steal three pairs of socks. Loss prevention contacted the woman, but she reportedly fled the employee after claiming her "water broke." The woman reportedly left her purse at Walmart and was later identified as the woman who fled the store. Walmart requested the woman be permanently trespassed from the store upon contact.
- A woman reportedly paid for items at Walmart with a fake $20 bill. Police were not able to identify the woman.
- Report of a license plate stolen off a vehicle in the 2600 block of West Marina Drive.
- Police were dispatched to a burglary alarm at a Moses Lake High School administration building on West Ivy Street. Police contacted the responsible party and were advised all was well.

- A woman told police that someone has been knocking on her door and running away at 7 p.m for the past two and a half years.
- Report of a found toolbox in Moses Lake.
- A man reported some lights were stolen off his truck trailers.
- Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District reported a solar panel stolen from its maintenance building.
- A woman advised deputies of a stray dog that reportedly looked like it had been "beat up."
- A woman advised of some vehicles pulling in and out from a known drug dealer's residence.
- A man reported finding a driver’s license on his property close to his shop. The man said he found footprints all over the area.
- A man reported someone broke into his shed.
- Deputies received a third-party report stating that a female threatened to kill him.

- Devin Schei, 22, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
- Hector Alaniz Jr., 42, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.
- Reyes Delacruz III, 42, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant and a GCDC commitment to serve 30 days.
- Galina Vorobey, 27, of Enumclaw, was arrested for a GCSC warrant.
- Johnnie Thompson, 26, of Bridgeport, was booked on four Grant County District Court warrants.
- Vanessa Carrillo, 27, of Ephrata, was arrested for a GCSC warrant and a Douglas County warrant.
- Jose Ariza, 23, of Othello, was booked on a Department of Corrections warrant.
- Domingo Estraca Jr., 37, of Ephrata, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
- Amber Pickering, 39, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant.
- Thomas Henderson, 21, of Ephrata, was booked on a DOC arrest order.
- Jaime Miller, 25, of Ephrata, was booked on a GCDC warrant.
- Jessica Koski, 37, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on fourth-degree assault domestic violence and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.
- Lela Meyer, 37, of Moses Lake, was booked on second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.
