Moses Lake Police Department
Jan. 13
- An unknown subject reportedly ran into a power pole in the 1100 block of Eastlake Drive. The pole received minimal damage, but two residences lost power. Grant PUD responded to the scene and solved the issue. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark-colored SUV.
- Report of gasoline siphoned from a non-running vehicle next a residence in the 600 block of South Grand Drive. The reporting party said the gas theft was connected to a November car prowl.
- Report of a possible theft of deposit money from the North Stratford Road McDonalds.
- A woman told police her daughter was staying with her and took some of her clothes when she left. The suspect's boyfriend advised the suspect would return the clothes.
- Report of a window at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road smashed sometime overnight. The damage was estimated at $300.
- A woman reported some mail was taken from her mailbox in the 500 block of North Kentucky Drive while she was on vacation.
- Two men reportedly got into a verbal altercation in the middle of South Grand Drive. One of the men reportedly told the other that he would have his family "take care" of the other man. The two men were advised to stay away from one another.
- A 16-year-old boy reportedly stole a backpack from Hastings Entertainment Inc. The boy was recognized on surveillance video by an officer.
- Police were not able to locate a man who was allegedly taking pictures of local banks.
- Report of a man checking car doors in the 1200 block of South Skyline Drive. Police were not able to locate the suspect.

Jan. 13
- A woman reported some of her firearms were stolen.
- Easy Street Care Home reported a resident was missing.
- A man reported seeing a vehicle go back and forth on a field. The caller said he saw a dog trying to run away and the driver of the vehicle ran the dog over. When approached, the driver of the vehicle allegedly said he had to shoot the dog.
- A woman reported a dog was attempting to get into her chicken coop.
- Report of some gang-related graffiti on the fence of a mobile home park.
- A man reported a suspicious man came to his door asking for gas and money. The caller said he did not see a vehicle in the area belonging to the suspect.
- Report of a boulder partially blocking one lane of a road.
- A man reported his father locked his caregiver out of his residence and barricaded the door.
Ephrata Police Department
Jan. 13
- Report of a verbal domestic incident in the 500 block of C Street Northwest. Both of the parties were contacted and separated.
- Report of a person tossing a dog in the 100 block of Crest Drive Southeast. The caller advised police the dog was running around as if it was looking for someone. Police could not locate the dog.
- Report of a possible order violation in the 800 block of Basin Street Northwest.
- A woman reported she lost some property at Safeway.
