Jessica Louise Westphalen, 82, passed away at Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.

Louise was born April 7, 1933 in Okanogan Wash., to William T. and Virginia Sheely. Louise graduated from Okanogan High School in 1951. Louise met Budd Westphalen, who was stationed at the Curlew radar base, and married him in 1954. Louise went to work for Pacific Northwest Bell the day after she graduated from high school and retired 38 years later. Louise enjoyed her friends, traveling, meeting new people, cross-stitching, genealogy, and bead work. She will be deeply missed by all.

A longtime resident of Moses Lake, Louise is survived by her three daughters and one son: Linda and Mike Kuest of Odessa, Debra and Jeff Thompson of Moses Lake, David Westphalen of Moses Lake, and Diana and Jim Lange of Riverside.

She is also survived by her seven grandkids and their families: Michael Kuest and his son Briley, Rebekah, and Apple. Nicholas Kuest, Cassandra Lange, and Jessica Lange, Frank and Tawny Westphalen of Medford, Ore., and their sons Landon and Sklyer, Rachael Westphalen of Jerome, Idaho and her sons Dalton and Gage, and Brian and Brittany Westphalen of Moses Lake.

Louise is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved very much, and many friends.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Budd Westphalen, her sister Marie Keopke, and her brothers Pat Sheely and Mike Sheely.
