  • A woman reported watching a woman walk down South Bailey Avenue, open several mailboxes and leave in a white SUV.
  • A woman reported losing her wallet at Safeway.
  • A man was reportedly spotted by Walmart security concealing earrings and exiting the store without paying for them. The suspect was arrested, permanently trespassed from Walmart and reportedly found to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest.
  • A man reportedly got angry at his bicycle and left it in the middle of West Broadway Avenue in the 2200 block. The man reportedly eventually took custody of his bike and left the scene. The man was advised to not leave his bike in the road.
  • Report of tools stolen from a detached garage in the 100 block of West Ernst Place. A neighbor reportedly witnessed the suspect vehicle leaving the scene and was able to provide police with a description of the vehicle. The vehicle was later located and a man and woman were arrested for residential burglary.
  • A man was reportedly contacted at Serve Moses Lake after causing a disturbance inside the organization's Third Avenue building. The man was advised to stay away from Serve Moses Lake for the day.
  • A woman was caught stealing items from Walmart and trespassed from the store.
  • A man was reportedly spotted on a bicycle without any lights in the 2100 block of West Basin Street. The man reportedly had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for a protection order violation.
  • A woman reported she lost her credit card and it was later fraudulently used at Walmart.

Ephrata Police Department

Jan. 7

  • Report of a vehicle broken into sometime overnight on Loma Place.
  • A woman reported someone threatened her during a conversation in the 100 block of C Street Southwest on Wednesday.
  • Emergency responders were dispatched to a report of building with a collapsed roof in the 1000 block of Basin Street Southwest. Upon arrival it was determined the roof collapse had occurred at least one day prior.
  • Report of an attempted burglary in the 10 block of G Street Southeast.

  • A woman reported her son was attacked by her neighbor's dog.
  • A man advised deputies that a person they were looking for was walking down a street.
  • A woman reported someone attempted to steal some gasoline out of her vehicle.
  • A woman reported a vehicle almost ran her off of state Route 28.
  • A woman told deputies her neighbor's dog keeps getting out of its yard and tries to attack her dog.
  • Report of a woman laying in front of a business for about eight hours. The caller was concerned about the woman developing hypothermia.
  • A woman reported someone threw a bottle through the window of her living room.
