Notice is hereby given that a Short Subdivision application was received by Grant County on December 18, 2015 from Stemilt Ag Growers (Designated Contact: J. Curtis & Associates, Inc., PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349), was found to be technically complete on December 28, 2015. PROJECT: Short subdivision creating four (4) lots (each approximately 7.50 acres) from approximately 30.16 acres in the Agricultural zone. Lot 1 has existing seasonal farm worker housing approved through the WA Dept. of Health but has no residential capacity under the Grant County Unified Development code. Lots 2, 3 & 4 are currently being farm and will have no residential capacity. LOCATION: The project is located at 29997 Rd R SW, Mattawa
WA approximately 6 miles southeast of Mattawa, WA. The parcel is located in the southwest quarter of Section 32, Township 14 North, Range 24 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. (Parcel #19-1681-000) ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None.
CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with
Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. Office hours: 8 am-12 noon, 1-4 pm, M-F. Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 4 pm on January 26, 2016. Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
