Moses Lake Police Department

Jan. 5

  • Report of a juvenile with a warrant in the 600 block of Grand Drive. The juvenile was positively identified and the warrant for probation violation was confirmed.
  • Report of a log splitter stolen from a business in the 900 block of West Broadway Avenue sometime between Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
  • An unidentified suspect reportedly threw a rock through a window of a church in the 900 block of West Valley Road. Shoe impressions were reportedly followed from outside the church to an enclosed trailed in a parking lot. The trailer was unlocked, but nothing was found to be missing.
  • A man and woman were detained by loss prevention at Walmart for an alleged theft. The suspects were reportedly wanted in connection with previous Walmart thefts. The suspects were permanently trespassed from all Walmart stores.
  • A girl at Moses Lake High School, who was previously listed as a runway, was spotted at the school. The girl was contacted and detained until her parent could take custody of her.
  • A woman reported her GPS and car keys were stolen out of her vehicle in the 400 block of South Melva Lane.
  • A boy was booked into juvenile detention for fourth-degree assault after reportedly pushing his mother when his mother attempted to remove him from her room.
  • A woman was cited and released for theft after reportedly stealing about $14 worth of meat from Walmart.
  • A woman reported her vehicle was prowled in the 1400 block of East Craig Street. She said her credit card was still in the vehicle after the prowl, but she later noticed $1,500 worth of unauthorized transactions was made to her account.
  • A man reported someone broke out a window at his residence in the 400 block of East Sharon Avenue.

  • Report of six or more cattle located near a road.
  • A man reported his neighbor's dog ate his chicken.
  • A woman advised deputies of two dogs running at large and possibly killing cats in a neighborhood.
  • Report of a pony loose by a water treatment facility near Warden.
  • Grant County Road District No. 2 advised of a equipment and dump style truck hindering their plow duties.
  • A woman reported her daughter had struck her and hit her husband.
  • A woman advised of two subjects with flashlights going from mailbox to mailbox down a street.
  • A woman reported another woman hit her with a clothes hanger.
  • An official from another police agency advised they were approached by a woman at a motel who said her nephew was assaulted.

Ephrata Police Department

Jan. 5

  • Report of a vehicle losing control on Nat Washington Way and striking a sign on the side of a road. A message was left with the city.
  • Report of a subject in a green SUV tearing up property behind a residence and driving recklessly down Stratter Road.
  • Police performed a traffic stop at C Street Southwest and Sixth Avenue Southwest. The driver of the vehicle was cited for third-degree driving with a suspended/revoked license.

Jan. 5

  • Kevin West, 59, of Renton, was arrested on a Grant County District Court warrant.
  • Raymond E. Atchison, 60, of Electric City, was arrested and booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
  • Raymond L. Atchison, 38, of Electric City, was booked on a Department of Corrections arrest order and a Snohomish County warrant.
  • Iliana Magana, 22, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on two counts of fourth-degree assault domestic violence and on a GCDC warrant.
  • Jessica Meeks, 26, of Pasco, was arrested and booked on three GCDC warrants and a warrant out of Franklin County.
