NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Grant County, State of Washington, there will be held a Special Election for the voters of Wahluke School District #73 Proposition No. 1 for the purpose of a Replacement of Expiring Education Programs, Maintenance and Operation Levy; Odessa School District #105 Proposition No. 1 for the purpose of a Replacement Capital Levy for School Improvements, and Proposition No. 2 for the purpose of a Replacement Maintenance and Operation Levy; Quincy School District #144-101 Proposition No. 1 for the purpose of Bonds to Construct, Renovate and Improve School Facilities; Warden School District #146-161 Proposition No. 1 for the purposed of a Replacement Maintenance and Operation Levy; Soap Lake School District #156 Proposition No. 1 for the purpose of a Two-Year Special Levy for the Transportation Fund, and Proposition No. 2 for the purpose of a Four Year Special Levy for Maintenance and Operations; Royal School District #160 Proposition No. 1 for the purpose of a Replacement of Expiring Educational Programs, Maintenance and Operation Levy; and Wilson Creek School District #167-202 Proposition No. 1 for the purpose of a Replacement Maintenance and Operation Levy.

PROPOSITION NO. 1
REPLACEMENT OF EXPIRING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION LEVY
The Board of Directors of Wahluke School District No. 73 adopted Resolution No. 06-2015, concerning a proposition to finance educational programs, maintenance and operation expenses. This proposition would authorize the District to meet the educational needs of its students by levying the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, for support of the District's General Fund educational programs, maintenance and operation expenses:

PROPOSITION NO. 1
BONDS TO CONSTRUCT, RENOVATE AND IMPROVE SCHOOL FACILITIES
The Board of Directors of Quincy School District No. 144-101 adopted Resolution No. 12-15, concerning a proposition to relieve overcrowding and improve safety and infrastructure. This proposition would authorize the District to: construct a new high school, renovate Quincy High School for Grades 6-8, renovate Quincy Junior High School for Grades K-5, construct gymnasium additions at George, Mountain View and Pioneer Schools, construct classroom additions at George School, and make other capital improvements; issue no more than $108,255,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within 20 years; and levy annual excess property taxes to repay the bonds, all as provided in Resolution No. 12-15. The registration deadline for online and mail-in registrations and transfers is January 11, 2016. Any qualified elector who is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Grant County Elections Office up to and including February 1, 2016.
You may register or obtain registration forms at the Elections Office and online at www.myvote.wa.gov, The Grant County Elections Office, 35 C St NW, Room 203, at the County Courthouse, will be open so voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, and use the Accessible Voting Unit at the following times:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Beginning January 20, 2016
Election Day 7:00 Am until 8:00 PM February 9, 2016

January 25, 2016 - February 19, 2016, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Extended Hours, if necessary); Processing of Mail Ballots, checking signatures, opening and processing ballots - Grant County Election Dept., Room 203, Courthouse Ephrata, WA
February 19, 2016, 10:00 AM to canvass the votes cast and certify the election.
