Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on February 16, 2016 from Lakeside Orchard LLC. (Designated Contact: Bill McCombs, PO Box 8, Wapato, WA 98951, 509-961-8747), were found to be technically complete on February 22, 2016. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. PROJECT: The cutting and filling of approximately 8,900 cubic yards of earth for the purpose of creating an approximately 2,000,000 - 2,500,000 gallon water retention pond on a 47.58-acre parcel. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject area is a portion of Parcel #21-0042-005. The subject area is located just south of the Potholes Reservoir, and is 0.95- miles SE from the E.5 Rd SE and SR 262 intersection. The parcel is located in the west portion of Section 18, Township 17 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA. ZONING: Master Planned Resort. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
