THE STATE OF WASHINGTON TO THE RESPONDENTS ISMAEL M. ALMASRI, YOSEF M. ALIA, AND MOHAMMAD ABU-KHATER:
You are hereby summoned to appear within sixty days after the date of the first publication
of this summons, to wit, within sixty days after the 5th day of February, 2016, and defend the
above entitled action in the above entitled court, and answer the Petition for Condemnation of the
Petitioner Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington, and serve a copy of your
answer upon the undersigned attorneys for Petitioner at their office below stated; and in case of
your failure so to do, judgment will be entered against you according to the demand of the
Petition, which has been filed with the Clerk of the Court. The Petition seeks to condemn and
acquire the real property described as follows:
A STRIP OF LAND BEING OF VARIABLE WIDTH WITHIN THAT PORTION OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 20 NORTH, RANGE 27 EAST, W.M., GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON, LYING NORTHEASTERLY OF HIGHWAY 17, SAID STRIP LYING BETWEEN THE NORTHEASTERLY RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY 17 AND A LINE BEING 25 FEET NORTHEASTERLY OF AND PARALLEL TO THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LINE:
Commencing at the North quarter corner of said Section 23; thence S 0°54’42” E along the West line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 23 for a distance of 292.08 feet to a point on said West line and the True Point of Beginning; thence S 47°47’56” E for distance of 3508.14 feet to a point on the South line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 23 and the Point of Termination; said point being S 89°41’33” W 90.02 feet from the East quarter corner of said Section 23, said corner being a B.O.R. Brass Cap. Said Easement having an area of 107,041 square feet,
2.457 acres.
The sidelines of said easement shall be lengthened or shortened to terminate on West line and the South line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 23. Bearings are based on the Washington State Plane Coordinate System, South Zone, NAD 83. Distances are grid.
