Moses Lake Police Department
Feb. 23
- Report of a physical altercation between the 1900 block of Marina Drive and the 1800 block of Crouse Street. A man advised he was talking to his niece when her boyfriend got into a verbal altercation with him. Police could not locate the other suspect.
- Report of some balloons setting off a motion detector inside a residence in the 1300 block of West Columbia Avenue.
- A business in the 1100 block of West Broadway Avenue reported a suspect writing checks that returned to a closed account.
- A woman reported finding a bag belonging to an unknown person in her residence in the 2600 block of Wall Street. The bag was reportedly torn and contained a toothbrush and soda.
- A man was observed running into a residence in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue with a rifle in a blanket. Police located the rifle in the apartment. The suspect wasn't a convicted felon and the gun was not previously reported as stolen. Police conducted a follow-up visit to locate the owner of the gun.
- Report of a verbal altercation between and father and son in the 700 block of Shipmaster Court. The argument was reportedly due to the man's adult son not helping out with his daily chores. The son agreed to leave his father's house.
- Report of a red BMX bicycle found in the 3600 block of West Everett Place.
- Police contacted a transient male in the 600 block of North Stratford Road who was working on his bicycle behind a building, near a daycare's playground. The man was asked to move to a different location because the operators of the daycare were uneasy about transients who have reportedly been camping behind their building.
- A woman reported almost getting hit by a person driving erratically in the area of South Pioneer Way and East Nelson Road. Police could not locate the vehicle.
Grant County Jail
Feb. 23
- Isaac Gonzalez, 28, of Moses Lake, was booked for a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
