Feb. 21

  • A 34-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding warrant for second-degree providing criminal assistance.
  • Report of tires slashed on a vehicle parked in the park-and-ride lot at SR 17 and Interstate 90.
  • Report of vehicle prowl in the park-and-ride lot at SR 17 and I-90. The driver side window was broken on a pickup parked in the lot, and the tool box had been pried open.
  • A 39-year-old man was cited for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • Report of a vehicle prowl in the park-and-ride lot at SR 17 and I-90. The driver side window was broken on a truck parked in the lot and cash, two saws and a car jack were stolen.
  • A 38-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for second-degree burglary after being discovered in a business with a broken front door in the 1000 block of North Evelyn Drive. Suspect said the window was already broken and he walked in out of curiosity; his story that the window was already broken allegedly was confirmed by a witness.
  • Report of a vehicle damaged by small BB-type projectiles. Damage was estimated at about $100.
  • A 25-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding warrants.
  • A 29-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • A stolen car was recovered in the 9900 block of Northeast Highland Drive. Wheels, motor, tires and most other parts were stolen from the car.
  • Report of hit and run accident. Driver of vehicle 2 discovered damage after work, but didn’t know where the damage occurred until he returned home and found the driver side mirror at his residence. Damage occurred sometime during the night and was estimated at about $850.
  • A 33-year-old man was arrested for third-degree theft after allegedly attempting to conceal alcohol in his pockets. Subject also was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Montana.

 

Feb. 22

  • Report of two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Balsam Street and East Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into the back of vehicle 2, which had slowed for a turn.
  • Report of three-vehicle, minor injury accident in the 800 block of East Alderwood Drive.
  • Report of vehicle prowl in the 2000 block of West Basin Street. Sometime between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. unknown suspects broke out the back window of a car and removed several bags of clothing.
  • Report of female harassing customers outside a business at 323 South Division St.
  • Report of attempted telephone fraud. Reporting party received a voice mail from a person claiming to be with the IRS.
  • Report of juveniles trespassing in a field in the 1500 block of Roberta Street. When contacted by law enforcement, two of the juveniles admitted smoking marijuana.
  • Report of possible theft. Reporting party said she found her debit card missing Feb. 16. When she attempted a transaction on her bank account, she was informed multiple transactions had overdrawn the account.
  • Report of Internet fraud. Reporting party thought she bought a vehicle for $3,000 from an online seller who was using the identity of a solider at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Ongoing issue with scammers using the identities of military personnel.

 

Feb. 23

  • A 53-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and altering a firearm.
  • Report of a burglary in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue. Unknown subject broke a window to gain entry.

  • Alberto Nunez, 37, of Quincy, was arrested and booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
  • Minerva Valle, 36, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on residential burglary.
  • Pete Lopez, 32, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on residential burglary.
  • Frank Lopez, 33, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on residential burglary.
  • Danny Hughley, 34, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant.
  • Sergio Moreno Jr., 38, of Moses Lake, was arrested for second-degree burglary.
  • Jose Brigido, 24, was booked for DUI and a GCDC warrant.
  • Kimberly Asher, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested for three GCDC warrants and a 30-day GCSC commitment.
  • Zachary Powell, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked on fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
  • Dustin Tracey, 33, of Kalispell, Mont., was booked on a warrant out of Montana.

  • Scott Slenker, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked for a GCDC warrant.
  • Zane Berg, 30, of Othello, was booked on a Department of Corrections order.
  • Michael Medrano, 24, of Ephrata, was booked on a DOC order.
  • Brandan Pryor, 30, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC order.
  • Neil Montgomery, 44, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC warrant.
  • Francisco Villa, 20, of Warden, was booked on a DOC order.
  • Bryan Burke, 36, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a DOC arrest order for probation violations.

 

Feb. 23

  • Evan Evans, 53, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a altered firearm, second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.
