PROJECT: The applicant is proposing to host a wakeboard and water ski competition on the Columbia River at Crescent Bar for one weekend each summer (typically in the month of June).

Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Conditional Use Permit Application) and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on January 7, 2016 from Crescent Bar Inc. (Designated Contact: Jacqueline Stocks-Banks, INT League, PO Box 359, Black Diamond, WA 98010 and was found to be technically complete on February 9, 2016. PROJECT: The

applicant is proposing to host a wakeboard and water ski competition on the Columbia River at Crescent Bar for one weekend each summer (typically in the month of June). The competition would take place in the river channel east of Crescent Bar Island Park. For the duration of the competition a temporary ski course would be placed in the river and held in place with two boat anchors, a temporary starting platform (8'x10') would also be anchored to the shoreline at the park and both would be in place Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Tents and an RV will be set up in the park for registration, etc. Spectators will be able to watch the competition from the beach at Crescent Bar Park. There will also be a Stand-Up Paddle Board race. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The competition would take place at Crescent Bar

Park, located at the end of Crescent Bar Rd. NW on Crescent Bar Island, in a portion of Section 19, Township 20 North, Range 23 E, W.M, Grant County, WA. Parcel #14-1308-000 & 14-1309-000. ZONING: Recreation Development. SHORELINE DESIGNATION:

is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
