Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on January 7, 2016 from Jeromy & Rosario McKean (PO Box 1175, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-750-6380) were found to be technically complete on February 5, 2016.

Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on January 7, 2016 from Jeromy & Rosario McKean (PO Box 1175, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-750-6380) were found to be technically complete on February 5, 2016. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only

opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon

request. PROJECT: A Discretionary Use Permit & SEPA Environmental Checklist to enable construction of a Mini-Storage Facility on an approximately 1.02-acre parcel in the Urban Commercial 1 zoning district of Grant County. As proposed, the facility will consist of four (4) 30-ft. x 140-ft. buildings (totaling approximately 16,800 square feet). ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 3808 Ottmar Road NE, Moses Lake, WA. It is located approximately 0.03 miles north of the intersection of Valley Road NE and Ottmar Road NE, and in the NE quarter of Section 17, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #12-0589-000). The subject parcel in its present configuration was created by a Boundary Line Adjustment (Application #P15-0188) approved by the Planning Department on January 6, 2016, and recorded on January 8, 2016 (Auditor's File #1357433). PRESENT ZONING: Urban Commercial 1. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
