ROYAL CITY — Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theater production of “Aladdin” are scheduled for 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 8 in the Red Rock Elementary gym.

About 50 to 60 children will be cast in the production, which will take the stage Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Royal Intermediate School gym. Auditions are open to all Royal students, kindergarten through high school, said Katie Allred of the Royal PTO Enrichment Committee. The PTO is sponsoring the MCT’s visit.

Students must attend the auditions to be cast in the play. Rehearsals are scheduled all week after school. The company provides the sets and costumes, and two adult actors who perform and act as directors.

Tickets will be available at the door and are $5 for adults, $1 for students. Children five years of age and under are admitted free.
