The Board has determined the material listed below is not currently necessary or needed for the use of the district; and authorized the sale of that personal property item pursuant to RCW 87.03.135.

The Board has directed that notice of the sale shall be given by publication at least twenty days before the date of the sale or lease in a newspaper of general circulation in the county where the property or part of the property is located; that said publication shall be made at least once a week during three consecutive weeks before the day fixed for making the sale; that the publication shall contain notice of the intention of the board of directors to make the sale and shall state the time and place at which proposals for the sale will be considered and at which the sale will be made.

For BID is 10,000 cubic yards of dredge spoils material (mixed soils, gravels and rock) to the highest bidder who will have responsibility for removal of said material within 180 days of purchase. Qualified bidder must use own loading and hauling/removal equipment and accept responsibility for spillage control during material transport.

MLIRD makes no warranty or representations regarding this material. This material is sold “AS IS.” Bidder expressly assumes all risks, known or unknown, associated with the materials. MLIRD has not inspected all of the materials and has had no testing performed on all of the materials. Potential bidders should contact MLIRD to arrange inspection and/or testing of the materials and make bidder's own evaluation of the materials and any risks associated therewith.

All bids must be sealed in an inside envelope that indicates “Dredge Spoils BID”. The bids shall include a cashier's check in the amount of the bid. The inside enveloped must then be sealed in an outside envelope and delivered to the District office at 932 E Wheeler Rd, Moses Lake, WA 98837 by 9am, Tuesday - February 9, 2016.
