| February 4, 2016 10:35 AM

WARDEN — Alcohol allegedly played a role in an early Thursday morning accident near Warden that killed one person and injured three others.

Azalia Perez, 39, of Warden, was reportedly a passenger in a 1993 Ford Explorer that slid off of Road U Southeast, south of Road 6 Southeast, about 2:50 a.m., according to the Grant County Sheriff' Office. Perez died at the scene and three of her relatives, who were also in the vehicle, were injured and transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The sheriff's office reports that alcohol appeared to be a factor in the accident.
