Moses Lake Police Department

Feb. 2

  • Report of a satellite stereo, amplifier and necklace stolen out of a vehicle in the 500 block of South Division Street.
  • Walmart loss prevention reportedly caught a female employee taking money. The suspect admitted to the theft and gave a written statement.
  • A man told police a man kicked in his front door in the 4200 block of Longview Street Northeast. The man said he did not see the incident, but wants the suspect charged.
  • Report of a bullying situation at a bus stop located at Valley Road and Sunburst Court. A student was reportedly bullying and pushing another student. The victim's mother and the suspect's father were told of the complaint. The victim's mother wanted the incident documented.
  • A woman advised her 16-year-old daughter ran away to a residence on the other side of the street in the 1400 block of East Craig Street and refused to come home. Deputies responded to the scene and made arrangements for the girl to stay with a family member for the night.
  • A woman reported she was renting a room in the 1100 block of Alderwood Street and noticed several of her belongings were missing when she was getting ready to move out.
  • Report of a person looking into cars in the Safeway parking lot. The suspect was gone when police arrived at the scene.
  • A woman told police she believes an unknown male associate of her female friend took her phone from her residence in the 800 block of East Cherry Avenue.
  • A woman advised she was shopping at Safeway and left her purse in a shopping cart. Safeway management advised the purse had not been turned in and no video was available.

Ephrata Police Department

Feb. 2

  • Police were dispatched to the Grant County juvenile facility in the 300 block of Abel Road after a staff member reported seeing a juvenile throw a weapon into some bushes prior before entering the building.
  • Report of a dog running at large on Ninth Avenue Southeast. Police located the dog, but were reportedly unable to capture it.
  • Report of a past vehicle prowl in the 100 block of Nob Hill Drive. A woman advised some items were moved around in her car.
  • Report of a court order violation in the 00 block of D Street Northeast. Police could not locate the suspect.
  • Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 2200 block of Basin Street Southwest. A girl was reportedly bitten by a dog and had a scratch near her wrist. The dog’s owner is going to be contacted to determine if the dog has rabies.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Feb. 2

  • A man reported a subject is forging his name on checks.
  • A woman reported a suspicious van pulled into her driveway and her neighbor's driveway multiple times.
  • A woman reported someone slashed the tires on her vehicle.
  • A man advised deputies he located a possibly stolen vehicle.
  • Report of a suspicious vehicle at an abandoned residence on Road K.
  • A woman reported her neighbor's husband threw her on the ground and assaulted her.
  • A woman reportedly called police stating "there is a male sitting with a green hat on wearing a fake nose" and hung up after laughing hysterically.

  • Christine Scott, 44, of Inchelium, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.
  • Mario Gutierrez, 34, of Ephrata, was booked on a Department of Corrections order for arrest and detention.
  • Shawna Hernandez, 35, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Lena Clemons, 34, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Grant County Superior Court bench warrant.
  • April Bernthal, 37, of Othello, was booked on GCDC warrants and a DOC detainer.
  • Martha Delamora, 36, of Moses Lake, was arrested for GCSC information.
  • Jonathan Ankney, 29, of Nespelem, was arrested on a GCDC warrant.
  • Annette Bustillos, 34, of Moses Lake, was arrested for GCSC information.
  • Carlos Santacruz, 28, of Moses Lake, was arrested for GCSC information.
  • Norma Mejia, 53, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC violation.
  • Jesse Charlton, 18, of Ephrata, was arrested for GCSC information.
  • Luis Martinez, 21, of Warden, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
  • Trevor Bain, 22, of Snohomish, was arrested for trafficking stolen property and third-degree theft.
  • Bryan Burke, 36, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC order for arrest and detention.
  • Robert Woods, 59, of Okanogan, was arrested for a GCSC warrant.
  • Jared Torgeson, 29, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.
  • Brandon Peeters, 32, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.
  • Jessi Newman, 36, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on two GCDC warrant.
  • Luis Martinez, 21, of Warden, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.
