Large fire damages Moses Lake business

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake firefighters battled a large blaze at a Moses Lake business for several hours Tuesday.

The Moses Lake Fire Department responded to the fire at Bee-Line Frame & Axle, located at 715 E. Fifth Ave., about 6:45 p.m. Firefighters with Grant County Fire District No. 5 responded to the scene to provide mutual aid to MLFD personnel in combating blaze. American Medical Response (AMR) covered medical calls for the MLFD in the city until the department could staff their ambulance. The department’s regular ambulance personnel were at Bee-Line for several hours.

The building and several vehicles that were being stored at the location, including a few classic cars, sustained significant damages. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire has not been released.
