Othello Christmas Lighting Contest under way

OTHELLO — Let there be light!

Othello residents and businesses have been and will be stringing up the Christmas lights once again for the annual Othello Christmas Lighting Contest.

The contest is sponsored by the Greater Othello Chamber of Commerce. According to Chamber Manager Bianca Mendoza, the winners will be announced on Dec. 23.

As homes and businesses throughout the area are decorated for the holiday season, Othello residents are encouraged to cast votes for their favorite Christmas light display in both the residential and business categories throughout the upcoming weeks.

To vote, visit www.othellochamber.org. The top three winners from each category will receive cash prizes.
