George drive-by shooters sought

GEORGE — Grant County sheriff’s deputies are asking the public for information about a shooting which happened early on Nov. 30 about five miles south of George.

Deputies were called at about 1:15 a.m. for several shots fired in the 15800 block of Frenchman Hills Road West. Deputies found two vehicles outside of a home which were struck by bullets.

One of the bullets ricocheted off one of the cars and struck the outside of a home where a family of seven was sleeping inside. Nobody was injured.

Witnesses said a black, two-door Honda Accord fled the area after the shots were fired.
