MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man was cited for his role in a single-vehicle collision in Moses Lake Monday night that left a woman injured.

About 7:35 p.m. Steven Yearout, 33, of Moses Lake, was driving a 2000 Ford Taurus south on state Route 17 and reportedly lost control of his vehicle at Stratford Road. The vehicle left the highway to the right and struck a guardrail, according to the Washington State Patrol.

There were four people in the vehicle during the wreck, only one of whom was injured. Linda Hibbard, 39, of Moses Lake, was injured and transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment.

Yearout’s vehicle sustained reportable damages and was impounded. Yearout was cited for speeding too fast for conditions, according to the patrol.
