Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit Application was received by Grant County on July 28, 2016 from the Grant County PUD No.2 (Contact Edrie Risdon PO Box 878 Ephrata, WA 98823) and was found to be Technically Complete on August 25, 2016. PROJECT: The applicant proposes to establish a public campground and public recreation amenities on Crescent Bar Island. The proposed campground is one component of a larger recreation improvement project taking place on the Crescent Bar Island. The campground will have approximately 55 camp sites and accessory uses customary to public campgrounds including but not limited to restrooms, picnic shelter. STUDIES REQUIRED: A Habitat Management and Mitigation Plan was prepared by Anchor QEA, dated December 2015. LOCATION: The project site is located on Crescent Bar Island. The parcel is located in a portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 20N, Range 23E, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #14-1325-000. ZONING: Recreational Development (RD). PUBLIC HEARING: Grant County Hearings Examiner, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 12:00pm in the Commissioners Hearing Room on the first floor of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
