Dorothy Irene (Terpstra) Fifield

Dorothy Fifield went to be with the Lord Friday, August 19, 2016. Dorothy was born April 16, 1936 in Ft Peck, Mont. As a young child she moved to Blaine, Wash. where she grew up. In 1954 she married Duane Terpstra. They had four children (one which passed away shortly after birth). They raised their family in Monroe, Wash. for a while and later ended up in Arlington, Wash. In 1996, Dorothy and Duane moved to the Moses Lake area where they retired. All of Dorothy’s life she was active in church, teaching Sunday School, Bible study groups, and participating in the women’s church groups. A year after Duane passed away she remarried a longtime friend Robert Fifield who made her feel special and well cared for during her final year of life. She leaves behind her husband Robert Fifield, three daughters Vicky Rosier (Rich Greinert), Irene Grimm (JP Peck), Joanne (Jack) Grout, one brother Robert (Cathy) Moir, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five step-children Sharon Miller, step son-in-law Dale Wesson, Virginia Beaudry, Lois (John) LaPointe, Jim (Jeanine) Fifield, Inis (Jim) Fox. A special thanks to Frontier Hospice and Jeanine Fifield for their care since mom’s cancer diagnosis. A memorial Service will be held 1 p.m., September 10, 2016 at the Nazarene Church, 422 S Balsam St, Moses Lake, Wash.
