Aug. 17
Report of a vehicle damaged with a rock in the 800 block of South A Street.
Officers located a vehicle in a parking lot in the 700 block of North Stratford Road that was reportedly stolen out of North Dakota.
Walmart reported a man who had previously been trespassed from their property was in their parking lot. The man was placed into custody for criminal trespassing and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license. Officers reportedly found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the man’s vehicle.
A man reportedly entered a restaurant in the 1100 block of South Pioneer Way and left his 13-month-old daughter in his vehicle. The man told police he “just forgot” the child was in the car. The infant was checked and cleared by Moses Lake Fire Department personnel. The man’s wife stated her husband doesn’t usually take his daughter to town and said he is a good and responsible parent.
Report of a subject knocking on the front door of a residence for several minutes in the 8500 block of Vince Road Northeast. Police could not locate the subject.
A man reported a man driving a large gray Dodge pickup truck cussed at him and was driving reckless in the area of North Central Drive and North Grape Drive. Police contacted the driver of the Dodge, who denied being involved in an altercation with the reporting party.
A man was booked into the Grant County Jail on two counts of fourth-degree assault after he allegedly assaulted two people while he was intoxicated.
Report of two women physically fighting in the 1000 block of South Division Street. The women advised they were arguing and nothing physical had occurred. They reportedly had bruises and marks indicating a fight had occurred, but still denied they had physically fought. The women were arrested for misdemeanor warrants they had out for their arrest.

A woman with disabilities reported that her neighbor was stealing her SSI money.
A man reported that items were taken out of his truck overnight.
A woman reported that her brother was having delusions, talking to himself and throwing lawn furniture around.
A man reported that a female subject was harassing him, saying he threw a couch away and complaining about his music.

A woman reported a suspicious vehicle circling the neighborhood.
A male caller reported receiving threats via Facebook.
A man reported that his golf cart had been stolen. He further reported that he had tracked it down to an address on the Base.
A woman reported that a female subject had been knocking on her door all night.
A storage unit was reportedly burgled.
A business reported phone harassment.
A woman reported that her daughter was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend.
A man reported that his vehicle had been broken into overnight.
A van was reported vandalized.
A fraudulent phone call purporting to be from the IRS was reported.
A man reported that a male subject stole things from the back of his truck and took off running.
Weapons were reported stolen from a house.

A woman reported that her daughter-in-law was at her house trying to break down her door.
A female caller reported that her boyfriend punched her in the face.
A man reported finding his barn door open in the morning.

Terry Low, 44, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Francisco Bazan, 46, of Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault.
Amanda Herger, 32, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for reckless endangerment (domestic violence).
Joseph Cunningham, 43, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Department of Corrections arrest and detention order.
Michael Lennon, 60, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Carlos Gonzalez, 35, no city of residence listed, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Michael Sangster, 22, of Ephrata, was arrested for an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.
Julio Mejia, 35, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and an ignition interlock violation.

Tony Alvarez, 19, of Quincy, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Evan Evans, 54, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine.
John Driesen Jr., 34, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked for unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.

Marcos Herrera Jr., 43, of Othello, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
