Harold Ruddy Seelye III, 57, a resident of Moses Lake, Wash., passed away unexpectedly from a ischemic stroke on August 3, 2016 at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle Washington.

He was born Feb. 4, 1959 in Pensacola, Fla. to his parents H. Ruddy Seelye and Silvia T. Campbell of Tyler, Texas. He graduated from Hermiston High School in 1976 and married his third wife Tina (Cariveau) Seelye on July 10, 2004 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

He worked as a cook, worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and was a bread man for IBC (Hostess) for 22-plus years. Currently he worked for Treasure Valley Coffee.

He was a kind hearted, gentle, funny, and a very outgoing man. He was a good friend to many, a terrific husband, and father and we all where very blessed to have him in our lives. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sisters Alexandra Seelye and Desiree De Leon; brothers Jeffrey Smith and Zane Smith; children Melissa Schmidtke, Christina Schaan, Brian Seelye, Chad Seelye, Meagan Forman, Hunter Forman, Harold Seelye IIII, four grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

Being in route sales for so many years Harold has made many friends, and to those as his wife I would like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers you have given us at this time. A very special thanks to Treasure Valley Coffee and the Roskelley family for all the support you have shown to Harold’s family, Tony and Sim for without the favor this could not have happened. Thank you.

We will be having a service at our home starting at 2 p.m., Aug. 27, 2016, at 8832 Neppel Rd NE, Moses Lake, Wash. Following the service, we will be having a potluck-style barbecue. This service is for all those who knew Harold and would like to join his family on this day.
