Report of several items stolen out of a vehicle parked in a business’s shop in the 2800 block of West Driggs Drive.

A man reported receiving fraudulent phone calls from a person claiming to represent the IRS.

Report of a BMX-style bicycle stolen from a residence in the 500 block of South Yakima Street.

A woman reported her son was riding his bicycle in an alley in the 1400 block of North Buell Drive and found an Airsoft gun.

A woman told police on Monday night a dog came up behind her in the 400 block of South Birch Street and bit her upper arm. Police could not locate the owner of the animal.

Report of a purse stolen in the 400 block of West Fourth Avenue.

A man wearing ear buds was spotted swerving in and out of traffic on a bicycle in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. Police contacted the man and advised him not to ride with his ear buds in.

A man was reportedly traveling west on West Valley Road when an unknown subject threw a rock at the front window of his vehicle. The force from the rock was strong enough to send glass shards into the vehicle.

A man was arrested for fourth-degree assault after allegedly striking his girlfriend with a refrigerator door and hitting her with a chair she was holding.

Grant County Jail

Aug. 16

Jesse James, 24, of Lakewood, was arrested on Grant County Superior Court information for intimidating a witness and unlawful imprisonment.

Nicholas Brice, 34, of Moses Lake, was arrested for second-degree burglary.

Elmer Gonzalez, 30, of Royal City, was arrested for an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Cheryl Dick, 46, of Nespelem, was arrested for outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Suyedid Vargas, 26, of East Wenatchee, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for DUI and second-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Melissa Garza, 23, Othello, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for criminal solicitation.

Debra Metcalfe, 60, of Yakima, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Rosario Barrera, 34, of Moses Lake, was arrested for an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.
