Help needed in search for suspect
Efren Hernandez Ponce
WARDEN — Warden Police are asking the public’s help in finding a burglary and sexual assault suspect.
Efren Hernandez Ponce, 22, is sought regarding a July 30 incident. He is a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 137 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and he has a pierced lower lip and pierced upper right ear.
The Warden Police Department is investigating in conjunction with the Mattawa Police Department. It is requesting any assistance that can be provided for the purposes of apprehending the suspect who was allegedly involved in a burglary and sexual assault on July 30 at approximately 5 a.m.

Efren Hernandez Ponce is believed to be in the Mattawa or Yakima Valley area and may be en route to California in an unknown vehicle.
