July 29
Report of a two-vehicle, hit and run accident. Suspect hit a tour bus belonging to country singer Eric Church and fled the scene. The suspect and the vehicle were located later in the 1200 block of Pershing Road. Subject was arrested for hit and run and on an outstanding Grant County warrant for DUI, cited for third-degree driving with a suspended license and driving with no vehicle insurance.
Report of subject lying the middle of the street. Subject was contacted and said his back hurt and he was trying to stretch it. He was advised to lay in the grass.
Report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 900 block of South Division Street. Unknown suspect keyed the victim’s vehicle.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Fourth Avenue and South Beech Street. Drivers of vehicles 1 and 2 each said the other vehicle ran into them. Case is under investigation.
Report of vehicle prowl in the 1400 block of South Sunset Drive. Victim said she left she windows down on her car overnight and a purse was stolen. Purse contained ID and cosmetics.
Report of vehicle prowl at a business at 1400 East Yonezawa Blvd. Victim said unknown suspect stole a stereo speaker and the rearview mirror from his car.
Report of possible employee theft from a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Managers said suspect allegedly stole about $1,000 cash from the self-checkout tills.
Report of attempted burglary in the 900 block of East Hayden Drive. Reporting party said suspect broke the fence to gain entry to the back yard, then tried to open the back door. Suspect fled the scene when he saw people inside the house.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant, a Yakima County warrant and Kennewick warrant for violation of a no-contact order and third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Report of threats in the 500 block of Valley Road. Driver of vehicle 1 ran a stop sign and almost hit vehicle 2, then cut off vehicle 2, forcing the driver to stop. He exited the vehicle and threatened her before driving away.
Report of shoplifting from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Suspect allegedly entered the store, took several unknown items and left without paying.
Report of a bike stolen from a business in the 200 block of East Third Avenue. Victim said the suspect was about 13 years of age, wearing a hat with a marijuana symbol and torn Nike shoes. Bike was described as a mountain bike style, DK brand, purple frame with green rims.
Report of theft from a business at 1011 South Pioneer Way. Victim said cash and a traveler’s check were missing from her motel room when she returned.
Report of two vehicle, non-injury accident near the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and North Stratford Road. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for following too close and driving without a valid driver’s license. Driver of vehicle 2 was cited for driving with a suspended license.
July 30
Report of vandalism at a business at 3000 West Marina Drive. Front window was broken on a vehicle parked in the parking lot.
Report of window broken at a business at 1606 West Broadway Ave.
Report of possible shots fired in the 8600 block of Northeast Charles Road. Officers found shell spent shell casings on Grape Drive, and victim said he found a bullet hole in his residence.
Report of graffiti at a residence in the 1400 block of North Buell Drive.
Report of vehicle prowl in the 1100 block of East St. Helens Drive. Reporting party said somebody broke into the vehicle and stole a backpack containing first aid supplies.
Report of theft at a business at 3000 West Marina Dr. Television was stolen from a motel room.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at North Stratford Road and East Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 said she was turning right onto North Stratford and didn’t see vehicle 2 when she made a lane change.
Report of vandalism in the 1400 block of North Buell Drive. Reporting party said unknown suspects sprayed the garbage cans with white paint sometime overnight.
Report of attempted theft at a business at 3400 West Sage Road. Three male suspects took items from a boat parked at the location, but threw it back in the boat and fled on foot when confronted.
Report of theft at a business at 411 East Third Ave. Victim said her purse had been stolen while she was at work. It contained cash, credit card and vehicle key.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and heroin and on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
July 31
A 27-year-old man was arrested for felony harassment (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Report of vehicle prowl interrupted in progress in the 600 block of South Hawthorne Drive. A 24-year-old man was arrested for second-degree vehicle prowl.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on three outstanding warrants.
Report of phone stolen from a business at East Third Avenue and South Division Street.
Report of three-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of North Stratford Road and East Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 became distracted and ran into vehicle 2, which ran into vehicle 3.
Report of theft from a residence in the 900 block of North Grape Drive. Victim said a lawn mower had been stolen sometime in the past week.
Report of vehicle theft overnight at a business at 1158 North Stratford Rd. Victim said he left his car running when he went inside to make a purchase about 11 p.m., and when he came back out the vehicle was gone.
A 23-year-old man was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Report of possible prowler in the 1000 block of West Gary Street. Reporting party said subject was looking over his fence and fled on foot when the reporting party yelled at him. Subject was described as a white male in his 20s, wearing a gray shirt and red basketball shorts.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant out of California and for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop. A woman came to the scene, claiming to be a licensed driver. She provided a false name and, when her real name was discovered, had an outstanding warrant out of Wenatchee. She was arrested for third-degree driving with a suspended license and making false statements to law enforcement.

A male subject who appeared to be on drugs was reported stopping traffic in the roadway.

An elderly man reported that his son was abusing him.
A woman in Soap Lake reported that her son-in-law was holding her stuff and refusing to give it to her.
A dog reportedly bit a child in Mattawa.
A Moses lake woman reported that a male subject was harassing her daughters.
Loud music was reported at a Moses lake residence that was supposed to be vacant.
A possible gunshot was reported in Grand Coulee.

A man in Moses Lake reported hearing screaming in what he believed was a domestic incident.
A store in Royal City reported a burglary.
Possible gang members were reported walking up and down a street in Moses Lake.
An Ephrata man reported that someone came to his door and said that he had crashed his vehicle about three-quarters of a mile away.
A man reported that he hit the back of a tractor two miles outside of Royal City.
A Moses Lake woman reported that her sons had someone else’s medications in their room.
A fraudulent phone call purporting to be from the IRS was reported in Soap Lake.
A male subject reportedly went into a restaurant in George and threatened to kill a female there.
A male subject was reportedly intoxicated and passed out at Rattlesnake Cove.
A Moses Lake woman reported that her landlord was harassing her.
A physical fight between a male and a female was reported in Moses Lake.
A female reported that she had been assaulted at the Gorge.
A woman in Beverly reported that her aunt’s boyfriend, against whom the aunt had a protection order, was at her residence.
A man with a chain around him attached to a tire and a flashlight on his head was reportedly jogging in Moses Lake.
A man in Moses Lake reported that two juveniles came to his house late at night saying they had been kicked out of their cousin’s place and wanted a place to stay until 5 a.m.
July 31
A woman reported that multiple tents had been ransacked and multiple items stolen.
A large fight involving over 100 people was reported at an abandoned warehouse.
Three horses were reported running at large in Mses Lake.
Four cows were reported in a yard in Quincy.
Broken windows were reported on a vehicle in Grand Coulee.
A Moses Lake woman reported that her vehicle had been broken into.
A man in Quincy reported that his wife’s vehicle had been broken into and a cell phone and pain medications had been stolen.
A Mattawa woman reported that her vehicle had been stolen.
A woman in Moses Lake reported that someone had broken into her vehicle and apparently tried to steal it.
A Moses Lake woman reported that a male subject had been hitting her aunt.
A woman in Quincy reported that her boyfriend had chased her with a bottle and struck her in the head until the bottle broke, causing her to need stitches.
A woman returned home near Moses Lake and found that her front door had been kicked in.
A man reported that two male subjects in a dark gray vehicle drove through his property near Soap Lake. The reporting party advised officers that he was armed.
A woman in Moses Lake reported that she and her husband were fighting and he hit her.
Kids were reported throwing eggs in Desert Aire.
A man in Ephrata reported that a car was driving between 50 and 60 mph in his neighborhood, drove through his yard and hit his fence.
Ten vehicles were reported on the lawn at the high school in Mattawa.
A woman in Moses Lake reported that her ex stole $50 from her wallet.

A woman in Soap Lake reported that an eight-year-old girl came to her door shortly after midnight. The girl, who had no shes, was crying and said she was from Vancouver.

Esteban Garza, 30, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamines and an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of a controlled substance and third-degree theft.
Luis Garcia, 33, Mattawa, was booked on a Yakima County warrant for first-degree negligent driving.
Ramon Contreras, 39, Beverly, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for DUI.
Carl Price, 50, Wilson Creek, was booked for felony DUI.
