Stolen items reportedly found in man's shoes

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man was arrested late Wednesday night after police reportedly found several stolen credit cards, identification cards and checks in his shoes.

About 9:55 p.m. Wednesday a Moses Lake Police Department officer pulled over a vehicle in the 1100 block of West Broadway Avenue, in front of North 40 Outfitters, for a traffic violation. David Valle Jr., 45, of Moses Lake, was reportedly a passenger in the car and police learned he had a valid felony warrant out for his arrest for violation of a court order, according to police records.

Upon being searched Moses Lake police reportedly found the items in Valle’s shoes. Valle was taken to the Grant County Jail and booked on the warrant and charges of possession of stolen property, according to police records.
