Manta Rays make donation to the Boys & Girls Club

MOSES LAKE — As a way of giving back to a community that has supported the swim team for over 60 years, Manta Ray Aquatics decided to donate a portion of the proceeds raised at a recent home swim meet to another local non-profit organization.

The decision of who the recipient of the donation would be was a very easy and clear one. The Manta Ray Aquatics Swim Club has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club several times over the years, and the team felt that they were the best choice to contribute to since both clubs are youth based organizations.

Manta Ray Aquatics now hosts 6 Inland Empire Swimming events a year, as well as between 10 & 12 Moses Lake High School meets. Most of these events bring around 200 to well over a 1000 patrons from other cities around the Northwest and Canada that help contribute to the financial prosperity of the Moses Lake and surrounding communities.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all that have sponsored, donated to, and supported the swim team for so many years, helping us to provide opportunities for our youth to succeed. The Manta Rays look forward to partnering with the Boys & Girls Club in the future, and are grateful that they were able to help a fellow youth program.
