A man reportedly keyed his girlfriend's car in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue because he was upset about the woman, whom he has a child with, having a boyfriend.

Two women were caught intentionally not scanning $5.10 worth of food items in the self check-out line at Walmart. The women reportedly did the same thing on April 23, but Walmart staff could not apprehend them. The business requested charges be filed against the women.

A woman reported the fraudulent use of her husband's identity in California after receiving a notice from the tax board in Sacramento in reference to payment for back taxes.

A man advised he received a phone call from someone claiming to represent the IRS.

A man reported his friend was driving a vehicle when a pedestrian grabbed the flag out of the back of his vehicle and broke it. The reporting party and his friends confronted the suspect when he went to eat in a restaurant and a verbal confrontation ensued. The suspect was advised by police to not break other people's property to prove he had the right-of-way. The driver and reporting party were warned about disorderly conduct, failing to stop for a stop sign and failing to yield to a pedestrian.

Report of a man stealing two bottles of vodka from Safeway and fleeing the scene on foot. Police could not locate the suspect.

A woman reported her juvenile daughter was struck by a fourth-grade boy at Knolls Vista Elementary. A follow-up will be conducted by the school to identify the boy.

Police responded to Safeway for a report of a suspect attempting to steal multiple bottles of alcohol and grocery items and assaulting an employee. The juvenile suspect was located and arrested for second-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft and minor in possession of alcohol.

Report a window on a door shot with a BB gun in the 9700 block of Olympic Drive Northeast.

A woman reported a woman in an older car came by her residence in the 1600 block of South Legend Lane three times claiming to be with the purported Federal Bureau of Expenses and asking about expensive belongings.


Grant County Jail

April 26

Michael Barajas, 20, of Othello, was arrested for second-degree driving while license suspended and three Grant County District Court warrants.

Emily Dalhaug, 24, of Warden, was arrested and booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.
