ROYAL CITY — The Stacey’s Pace 5K run has been scheduled for Saturday, April 30, at 9 a.m. at the Royal High School Track.

It was 3 years ago this month that Caitlin and Connor Paysse lost their mom, Stacey to brain cancer.

Stacey was a vibrant member of the Royal community for most of her life. She photographed many, many sports teams and individuals over the years.

“This annual event, organized in her honor, by her daughter Caitlin, is a great way to remember a wonderful friend and community member. So please come and support it,” family friend Lisa Christensen said.

Commemorative T-shirts will be available to purchase or order the day of the race for $10 a.m., but participation is free.
