April 20

Employees at a drive-thru in the 1000 block of Basin Street Southwest reported a driver who appeared lethargic and having difficulty keeping his eyes open. EPD followed the vehicle and observed no driving violations.

An anonymous person reported that the same driver had been speeding two to four times a week at the same time of day and sometimes texting while driving through a school zone on Nat Washington Way.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of E Street Southeast for a barking dog. He was unable to locate the dog but heard barking as he was walking away.

A two-vehicle collision occurred at Division and Basin streets. There were no injuries and both parties exchanged information.

An officer responded to a report of a subject who was having difficulty walking in the area of Nat Washington Way and B Street. The subject advised that he had just left the hospital and was looking for a ride home. The officer transported the subject home.

A woman reported that her son assaulted her and was breaking items in her home.

A man reported that his neighbor’s dogs were “making it smell bad in the area.”

A woman reported that the side of her building was tagged.

A woman told officers that she pushed her boyfriend and slapped him, whereupon he kicked her, grabbed her by the neck and pushed her out of the house.

A real estate agent reported that she went to a client’s house while the client wasn’t home and found the doors open.

A woman reported that her neighbor’s cows wandered out of their pasture and into her yard.

A student at North Elementary School found live ammunition in a classroom.

A woman reported that subjects with a tire iron were trying to open her door.

A man reported returning home to find his dog was shot.

Suspicious persons were reported at a nursery looking around buildings and areas of the property not open to the public.

A woman reported that her neighbors were throwing rocks over the fence and hit a person.

A trailer park reported there was a male living in a storage unit with no utilities and refusing to leave.

Two suspicious vehicles were reportedly parked just above a gravel pit.

A cow was reported running at large in the road.

Artur Voznyy, 38, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

Thomas Morris, 24, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on fourth-degree assault domestic violence.

Brittany Strong, 20, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections arrest order.

Duane Gray, 60, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on second-degree assault and brandishing.

Silvia Mercado, 30, of Quincy, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.

Christopher Orozco, 28, of Othello, was arrested and booked on a warrant out of Spokane County.

Mark Stephens, 27, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a DOC warrant.

Shannon Dorst, 27, transient, was arrested and booked on violation of a domestic violence no contact order and a warrant out of Chelan County.

Eric Young, 40, of Wilbur, was arrested and booked for second-degree criminal trespassing.

Levi Hines, 24, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for second-degree kidnapping.

April 21

Lazelda Foster, 21, transient, was arrested and booked on third-degree malicious mischief domestic violence and second-degree criminal trespass domestic violence.
