Volena Dunn

May 30, 1935 – April 9, 2016

Volena Dunn, 80, passed away on Saturday, April 9 after a year long battle with cancer.

Vo, as her friends called her, was a resident of Moses Lake for more than 45 years. She volunteered as a tutor for Youth Senior Connection and was active for many years with the Moose Lodge, the Moses Lake Senior Center and the Grant County Democrats. Volena was a talented quilter and prolific gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Dunn, who passed away in 1978. She is survived by her children Debra Stevens, Pamela Dunn and Mark Dunn, as well as her granddaughter BrieAnna Bowden.

Volena was originally from Michigan, where her siblings Allen Clemons, Dale Clemons, Renafay Verduyn and Darlene Craig still reside.

The immediate family will have a private service.
